What to Expect at Agape Church
Planning a visit to Agape Church? First off, we would be honored to have you as our guests. Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions we get here at Agape.

1. Where is your church?

We gather for worship on Sundays at 10:30am. Our address is 217 W. Plane Street, Bethel, OH 45106 (at the Treehouse Learning Center).

2. What do I wear?

This is one of the most asked questions. The answer? Whatever you want. Are you a t-shirt and jeans kinda guy/gal? Then wear it. Like to dress in your Sunday best? Absolutely. The term "come as you are" is overused in church lingo, but really applies to this question. Wear what you feel comfortable in.

3. What kind of worship style do you have?

Since we are brand new we are looking for anyone who would like to be a part of our worship band (which we are working on!). We play contemporary worship music. At Agape Church we feel and believe that a blend of the "new" and "old" benefits the church as a whole. Modern contemporary music is great and we love playing these songs and worshiping to them, but we also feel that the great hymns of our faith need to be used in worship as well. Most of our renditions of these great hymns have a fresh and modern touch that blends well with the contemporary feel to our music. We sing all the contemporary worship from today's great worship bands.

4. Are there any programs for my kids?

Absolutely Agape Church has a kids program!  We love kids of all ages and have a place to plug them in no matter what the age. We have our Children's Church programing where your kids ages 2 through 4th grade will be in a class with their age group. They will be immersed in a biblical based lesson using music, videos, teachers, and other various educational tools. For babies up to 2 years old, we have a nursery with a friendly staff to watch over them. No matter the age, we have a way for them to get involved, so check them in using our secure child check in system, send them off for a fun time, and sit back and enjoy your time in service!

5. Do you guys have Small Groups?

We do! We always have a great variety of small groups and classes to choose from here at Agape Church. We have a Midweek small group to get involved in. Our small groups are designed to foster community as you dive into scripture together. 6. Do I have to give to the offering if I visit?

You are by no means expected to give to the offering. The Bible teaches us that Biblical Giving is an important aspect to our faith (whether that is money, time, talents, etc.), but this is nothing that is expected of a guest. As most of our congregation gives online anymore, we ditched the awkward passing of the collection plate and installed offering boxes near the exits that people may give to should they wish.

6. Where do I park when I visit Agape?

There are many places to park when visiting Agape! You can park on the main street in front of the church. You can park behind the church in the parking lot on South Union Street. You can also park in the Community Parking Lot by the Municipal Building and the Police Station across the street.
